Make Someone's Day ... Every Day!

Make this a mantra throughout your organization for everyone at every level.

It requires empathy, caring and thoughtful action. Leadership guru, John Maxwell, refers to this as “the 30-second rule” — the practice of saying something nice within the first 30 seconds of your interactions with the people around you (whether by phone, in person, via email, social media, etc).

Many times, it’s simple, little things, that you can say and do, but those seemingly small things can literally make someone’s day and demonstrate the appreciation and fondness you have for your people, your team, your suppliers, and your clients.

Every day offers an opportunity for you to make a difference by inspiring others with a considerate gesture or kind words.

What can you do today to make someone's day? Do. It.

Repeat tomorrow …
